The following are the official minutes from the 12/2/04 meeting of the A.C.C. H.A.M.S:

 

Attendees: Gwen B., Brittany, Jonathon, Shea, Francis, Jared, Natalie, Tiffiany, Rebekah, Heather.

 

Topic 1:Bazaar:

 

We made $11.00 profit at the Bazaar and that money is being used to pay  the remaining debt from the t-shirts.

 

Topic 2: Help a Family:

 

We will be getting a $25. gift certificate and giving it to Marilynn Goodnight to give to a needy family for Christmas.

 

Topic 3: H.A.M.S website:

 

The website is on Francis's personal website for now because A.C.C website is going through reconstruction. Our website should be on the official A.C.C. website by March.

 

Topic 4: Things to do:

 

Read constitution on the H.A.M.S. website.

 

Topic 5: Volunteer work:

 

Tiffiany is looking into a volunteer project on Dec. 15 at Headstart Daycare. The time will be announced A.S.A.P.

 

Topic 6: Spring tours:

 

Mrs. Gwen wants to visit MD Anderson and UTMB nursing school. The dates for visiting UTMB are Feb. 4, March 4 or April 1; all from 9:00am-12:00pm.  We are leaning toward the March 4 date.

 

Topic 7: Christmas Dinner:

 

On Dec. 16 we are having the H.A.M.S christmas party.  It will be the our meeting room and at the same meeting time, 4:00pm.  Bring a refreshment and a white elephant gift( for those of you that don't know what that is, it is a gift you have gotten that your don't want and can't get rid of!!) Make sure your gift is wrapped.
